Police Arrest Man in Connection with Fatal Stabbing

HONOLULU (KHNL) -  Violence on a fishing vessel in Honolulu Harbor leaves a man dead and another in police custody.

Officers rushed to Pier 36 at about 3:00 Tuesday morning.

They found the victim lying face down on the boat with several stab wounds.

He died at the scene.

Police arrested 26-year-old Taniera Takentarawa, a member of the fishing crew, on suspicion of murder.

They also recovered a knife.

Sources say, the suspect confessed to the killing.
