HONOLULU (KHNL) -- Coast Guard rescue crews aided an injured man aboard a fishing vessel about 70 miles north of Kauai Tuesday morning.
Rescue crews received a call from a crewmember aboard the vessel Isabella T about 7:15 a.m. Monday concerning a 30-year-old man who injured his finger on a tackle block.
A Coast Guard doctor assisted crewmembers of Isabella T tend to the man's injury while awaiting help.
The man was taken to Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Kauai.
