Hawaii Warriors Win 2007 WAC Championship

HALAWA (KHNL) -- It was a game that rocked Aloha Stadium.  Just like that, the Warriors capture the WAC Championship!

Cheering UH fans rush to the field to celebrate with their team. 50,000 fans packed Aloha Stadium for Friday's sold out game.

And the Warriors did not disappoint.  UH beat the Broncos 39-27.the Warriors remain undefeated on the season with an 11 and 0 record.

Colt Brennan breaks NCAA career mark for touchdown passes.  He threw 122nd in the first quarter to surpass the mark set by former BYU quarterback Ty Detmer in 1991. 

Brennan also broke Detmer's record for most touchdowns responsible for with 136 on that same pass.

The Warriors will play University of Washington in their final scheduled game of the season at Aloha Stadium on December 1.
