WAHIAWA (KHNL) -- Fluid. Strong. And fast. Everything comes easy to Robert Siavii on the field. And because of that, he's being recruited to play at several big colleges, including Hawaii, USC, Texas, Utah, and Maryland. Siavii credits head coach Nolan Tokuda.

"Without him, I think I wouldn't be doing this cause he pushed me since my sophomore year," said Siavii.

That's because Tokuda saw potential on the field, but noticed Siavii struggled off it. His GPA that year was 2.4. But with hard work, Siavii improved to a 3.5 as a junior, and got a 4.0 as a senior.

"Studying in the classroom is way harder. cause on the football field, you just have fun. and nothing's hard," said Siavii.

"I think that's a coaches dream. And we talk about paycheck. That's our paycheck right there. We basically coach for love," said Tokuda.

That's the same thing that drives this linebacker.

"For all the help from my parents, teammates, my brothers and all my coaches. Without them, none of this would be happening, so I give shot out to all of them, and I love you guys."
