Witnesses Wanted in Nimitz Hit and Run

HONOLULU (KHNL) -- Honolulu police are seeking your help  in identifying and locating the driver responsible for killing a military man and injuring two others in a hit and run accident on Nimitz Highway.

Police say on November 10, 36-year old John Jackson and two other people were loading a motorcycle onto a trailer at about 3:40 a.m. when they were hit by a gold Chevrolet Astro van.

The two people inside the van ran off without stopping or assisting the people.  Jackson died from his injuries; an 18-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were hospitalized.
