HONOLULU (KHNL) - Governor Linda Lingle announced a special session of the legislature will convene Wednesday morning to deal with the Superferry controversy.
The hearing will get under way at 9 AM. It's expected to last at least six days.
In the meantime, a state senate panel is on the Big Island hearing more testimony from people on both sides of the Superferry controversy.
According to observers in the room at Kealakehe High School in Kona, there are about 350 people on hand with 126 signed up to offer testimony on the inter-island carrier.
