LAHAINA (KHNL) - Phone service has been disrupted to an estimated 500 customers in Kaanapali and Honokowai.
Two phone cables were damaged by the fire that started near the Lahaina Civic Center Friday morning.
Phone crews are one scene assessing the damage. The closed North-bound lane of Highway 30 will remain closed while phone line repairs are being made.
No major power or cable television outtages were reported.
