HONOLULU (KHNL) - Coast Guard Station Maui crewmembers transported a 49-year-old woman from a Good Samaritans' vessel to Lahaina Harbor after she was found adrift one mile south of Maui at 7:00 Friday morning.
The woman told Coast Guard officials she became separated from her kayak and has been adrift since Thursday afternoon.
Crewmembers on the charter vessel, Strike Zone, recovered the woman and contacted the Coast Guard.
The woman was taken to Maui Memorial Medical Center for further treatment.
