Lingle Nominates Randal Lee as Intermediate Court of Appeals

HONOLULU (KHNL) - Governor Linda Lingle nominated Randal Lee Monday, to the Intermediate Court of Appeals.  Lee will fill the seat that was previously held by the Honorable Judge John S.W. Lim, who passed away in June.

"I first appointed Judge Lee to the Circuit Court in 2005 because I felt his extensive experience as a deputy prosecuting attorney, as well as his background with the Public Defender's Office gave him a broad perspective that is critical to serving on the bench," said Governor Lingle.  "Over the past two years, Judge Lee has served the people of Hawai'i well and I am proud to appoint him to the Intermediate Court of Appeals."

In February 2005, Governor Lingle named Lee to the Circuit Court of the First Circuit (Oahu).

He was confirmed by the Hawaii State Senate in March 2005, and has served on the First Circuit Court bench since April 2005.
