(KHNL) - Sam's Club has voluntarily recalled some of their frozen ground beef patties.
There are four cases of E. coli O157:H7 infection in Minnesota residents associated with eating frozen ground beef patties manufactured by Cargill Inc., and purchased from Sam's Club beginning August 26, 2007 with an expiration date of February 12, 2008. As a result, Sam's Club is voluntarily removing this product and any current frozen American Chef's Selection Angus Beef Patties from U.S. locations.
Sam's Club Hawaii has pulled the American Chef varieties from their shelves.
Sam's Club members who may have purchased American Chef's Selection Angus Beef Patties are being asked to return it to the nearest Sam's Club or destroy it. Sam's Club is providing full refunds to members who may have purchased this product.
