HONOLULU (KHNL) - Some exotic and rare Egyptian treasures will go to the highest bidders Saturday.

The benefit auction will feature unique and handmade items imported from Egypt.  On sale will be furniture, home decorations, mirrors, lamps, paintings, and much more.

"Hawaii geographically speaking is enclosed and to be able to bring these items all the way across the world will be a very interesting thing to do especially because most items have a cultural value, a cultural and historical value," said Auction Manager, Mo Qibon.

The Egyptian treasures auction starts at 10:30 Saturday morning, at the Blaisdell Center.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Hawaii International Film Festival
