HONOLULU (KHNL) -- Honolulu police need your help in identifying a man involved a jewelry heist.
The suspect walked into Hallmark Jewelers at Ala Moana Center Saturday night, and asked to see some watches. When the worker opened the display case, investigators say the man pulled up his shirt and showed the butt of a handgun. The robber ran away with several pieces of jewelry.
"We did have another incident (Thursday) at Ward Warehouse," Sgt. Kim Buffett, Crimestoppers, said. "We are not connecting it, but the similarities are there. It's the same description that we have. A handgun again was brandished and the same MO where he went in, asked to see some jewelry and left."
The suspect is believed to be in his 40s. He's about 5'8" and weighs about 160 pounds. He had black hair with a receding hair line.
