LIHUE, Kauai (KHNL) - Federal, state and local government agencies removed a total of 1,060 marijuana plants from locations across the island over the last two days.
"We're pleased that the operation was very successful. It was the result of KPD working with other organizations that enabled us to accomplish this huge task," said Lt. Michael Contrades with the Kauai Police Department.
The "Super Mission" began on the Big Island on September 4 and swept across the state.
Kauai was the last island in the 10-day operation.
