President Bush Arrives in Hawaii

(KHNL) - President George Bush stepped off Air Force One at Hickam Air Force Base around 11:15 Hawaii time Sturday morning.

He was accompanied by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and was greeted by Governor Linda Lingle and local military leaders as he walked off Air Force One.

The President also met with Caroline Tom, a volunteer with the Lanakila Multi-Purpose Center and Palama Settlement. She will be presented with the President's Volunteer Service Award, thanking her for making a difference in the lives of others.

The President is on his way to a luncheon with troops. He is expected to leave shortly before 3:00 Saturday afternoon.
