HONOLULU (KHNL) - It's just a few days until the 23rd ranked Hawaii Warriors take the field for their season opener against Northern Colorado.
The team is ranked in the pre-season polls for the first time in the program's history, and it has a quarterback that's a Heisman hopeful.
So, how are they handling the national hype?
"We've had NFL Films here we've had HBO, ESPN, I let them in my meetings. They have traveled on the road with us, Fox TV last year. These kids are used to it and I think had we not done all those things in previous years this might be a shock to them, all the things that are going on" said head coach June Jones.
"They've handled it well, Colt has handled it well and it's great exposure for our state."
