Council Meetings Now Viewed on Web

HONOLULU (KHNL) - You now have access to the Honolulu City Council's meetings, right at your finger tips. A partnership between Olelo Community Television and the city makes it possible for the public to view meetings on the internet.

The web site makes it easy for people to navigate through council agendas.

"The feature. Being able to jump to a specific agenda item, a specific resolution where you want to perhaps in a three or four hour hearing, want to go to just one particular item that you're interested in," said Kealii Lopez of Olelo Community Television. And that would allow the public to have a better understanding and focus on areas they have concern or interest in."

Access to the website is free to the public. The meetings can be viewed two days later on their web.
