(KHNL) - NOAA will sign and implement a new Hawaiian Monk Seal Recovery Plan in a ceremony that will take place at the Waikiki Aquarium Wednesday. This is the first time changes have been made to the plan since it was first drafted in 1983.
The Hawaiian monk seal is one of the world's most endangered species. The recovery plan is designed to help save the species from extinction.
