KEWALO BASIN (KHNL) - What a difference a day makes on Oahu's beaches.

Scores of jellyfish washed up on our shores Wednesday but a day later, hardly any.

There were 350 found on the South Shores of Oahu.  But now very few are showing up. This was the scene at Ala Moana Beach, many people enjoying the warm water.

Quite a difference from the day before, when a thousand jellyfish were discovered in Makaha and 500 in Pokai Bay.

"Water's great, it's beautiful and I don't see them. I got in the water a little bit and it doesn't seem like there's any threat right now," said beachgoer Christina Hijjawi.

Although jellyfish numbers are down, signs are still posted on some local beaches.
