Agents Raid Homes and Businesses for Pirated Devices

WASHINGTON (KHNL) - Federal customs agents raided 30 businesses and homes across the nation, including Hawaii Wednesday.

The agents were looking for devices that allow game consoles like the Wii, PlayStation and Xbox to play pirated video games.

U-S Immigration and Customs Enforcement declined to release the names of those targeted.

But they said the suspects are allegedly responsible for importing, installing, selling and distributing foreign-made devices smuggled into the country.
