MANOA (KHNL) - The start of Warrior football fall camp is still a couple of weeks away, but the Hawaii coaching staff had plenty on their hands over the weekend, trying to keep up with some future warriors, at the Hawaii Football Clinic.
"You know the coaches are working hard," said Warrior Defensive Backs coach, Rich Miano, "When you got the youngsters you really have to stay on top of them with technique and all that stuff so today was taxing but everybody was smiling."
The two-day session which ran this past Saturday and Sunday, saw 250 little warriors, turn the UH practice field into their own personal playground, running through the same drills the big warriors go through themselves.
"Its great," Miano said, "You know we love giving back to the community and there's no better way than to have a youth clinic so we want to make sure Hawaii football is at an all-time high and we give back to the community."
