Residents Will Get to Tour the Alakai

HONOLULU (KHNL) - Oahu residents will get a chance go aboard the Alakai.

Residents will be among the first to tour the vehicle and passenger decks of Hawaii Superferry's Alakai while the vessel is docked at the Honolulu Ferry Terminal at Pier 19.  The tour will highlight numerous onboard amenities, spectacular panoramic views and comfortable seating options that will be available when service begins later this summer.

"We are deeply grateful to the community for their support and commitment over the years," said Hawaii Superferry President and Chief Executive Officer John Garibaldi.  "It is our pleasure to welcome them aboard the Alakai to see their ferry."

The Hawaii Superferry will hold community preview tours on board the Alakai on Saturday, July 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Anyone wishing to attend the free onboard community preview must register in advance through one of the five Clear Channel websites.
