(KHNL) - Some not-so-good news for a former UH basketball player and it's very serious.
As former University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine Basketball Standout, Janevia Taylor is in intensive care, after she was involved in a car accident on Saturday, in California. Now details of Taylor's injuries have not been made avaliable.
However Taylor's brother told KHNL News 8 Friday afternoon, she is moving some and has started to open her eyes.
Last season, Taylor led the Rainbow Wahine in assists and steals, and finished 2nd, averaging 11 points per game. Hawaii head coach, Jim Bolla told KHNL, he has been in contact with Taylor's family and he too is hoping for a speedy recovery.
If you wish to help Taylor's family with medical expenses, donations can be made at any First Hawaiian Branch or mailed to.
