HONOLULU (KHNL) - A man accused in the shooting death of another man in Makaha three months ago pleaded guilty to Federal drug and firearm offenses Monday.

55-year-old Keith Kuraoka is suspected of gunning down an intruder at his home on Maiuu Road March 24th. The victim was shot in the chest and died at a nearby hospital.

Honolulu police found a semi-automatic rifle and crystal methamphetamine during a search of Kuraoka's house. They turned that part of the case over to Federal authorities.

Kuraoka faces 10 years to life in prison when he's sentenced in November.

The homicide investigation continues.
