HONOLULU (KHNL) - Governor Linda Lingle has released $85,000 in planning funds for the Hawaii National Guard's Pu'unene Armory on Maui.
The funds will be used to complete Phase II of the project's environment site assessment, which includes test for hazardous materials.
The assessment will determine if the location is suitable for more development. Phase II of the environment site assessment is currently underway.
