HONOLULU (KHNL)- The case of a man accused of stealing the identity of another man found dead in the Philippines is now in the hands of an Oahu jury.
Henry Calucag Junior is charged with ID theft, credit card fraud, unauthorized computer use and theft. Attorneys from both sides delivered their closing arguments this morning.
Prosecutors say Calucag used forged documents to take possession of land on Kauai belonging to his polo partner, John Elwin. Authorities in the Philippines found Elwin's body with multiple gunshot wounds last year. The jury began its deliberations Wednesday.
