(KHNL) - There is definitely no shortage of places to eat at the Waikiki Beach Walk.
From casual, fine-dining to even nationally recognized restaurants, you'll find it all!
At the makai end of the Waikiki Beach Walk, folks line up at the entrance to the "Yard House".
"It's hip, it's fun, it's exciting, it's very versatile," says Yard House general manager Patrick Faas.
"We actually feature what we call an American-fusion cuisine so really pretty much anything you like, we will have, from lamb chops, great soups and so on, and so on," says Faas.
The restaurant also offers chilean miso sea bass and a delicious ginger crusted salmon.
When you walk in, the sound of rock music fills the air and the bar demands your attention. The Yard House offers a large selection of beer from all over the world.
"From Coors Light, Heineken to some of the most obscure beers, from ales to lagers, to pilsners, the list goes on and we probably have it," says Faas.
On the second floor, guests enjoy the sizzle of Ruth's Chris Steak House.
Further down at the new Holokai Grill, diners feast on dishes like the orange and guava glazed ribs.
"It has a little bit of cilantro and chili mix on the ribs and tastes excellent with our sweet potato fries!" says Michael Miller of Holokai Grill. "When you walk in, it's ocean voyaging we have hand-carved wooden canoes, we have three main focal pieces which are wooden canoes."
Downstairs, a wide selection of sweet and refreshing gelato awaits at Mondo Gelato!
"It's made from an italian machine. It's different from ice cream and there's less air in there," says Wes Fong of Mondo Gelato.
Flavors range from a hard to resist pistachio to an affogato coffee gelato with a shot of espresso. Samples are free and Mondo Gelato encourages people to try before they buy!
"It's made with aloha pride and yet it still has the traditions of Italy," says Fong.
