KANEOHE (KHNL) - A suspect in an execution-style killing in Kaneohe this week was a double-murder suspect in another state seven years ago.

The Medical Examiner is still working to positively identify the Kaneohe victim. Investigators say the man was running on Kaneohe Bay Drive trying to escape his captors when one of the suspects opened fire on him. An autopsy revealed he died from multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen.

Police say it all started with an argument at a house on Puuohalai Place.

Officers arrested 26-year-old Jerrico Lindsey on suspicion of murder. Seven years ago, authorities in Mobile, Alabama charged him in connection with a double-homicide there. Those charges were dismissed.

35-year-old William Freeman is also under arrest in connection with the Kaneohe murder. The search for a third suspect continues.
