NORTH SHORE (KHNL) - One suspect is still on the loose Tuesday night after two others are taken into custody.

At about 11 o'clock Monday night, police spotted the suspect's vehicle in Haleiwa. The three men inside reportedly ditched their car near Jameson's By the Sea Restaurant, and fled on foot. But police were able to catch and arrest 35-year-old William Freeman.

Roger Anderson was delivering newspapers late Monday night when he cam across the roadblock.

"They pretty much made me cut my route in half. So I couldn't go down that side, so I had to cut it in half and go straight to Foodland in Pupukea" said Anderson.

"My uncle has a ranch right here, so I was just kind of concerned they would come through on the back side and shoot over. So I was a little bit nervous, so I was just trying to find out what was going on, make sure everyone is okay" said one Haleiwa man.

Then at about eight o'clock Tuesday morning, police caught up with a second suspect, 26-year-old Jerrico Lindsey at Laniakea. He was spotted by several people in the area, all scraped up. And according to witnesses, he was acting suspicious.

Police are advising people to be aware of what's happening in and around your home, especially if you live on the North Shore. They are also asking anyone who may have information on the case, or know anything about the third suspect -- who is still on the loose -- to call 911.

The two suspects in police custody have not yet been charged.
