WAIKIKI (KHNL) - Fashion enthusiasts flocked to Waikiki Saturday for a special benefit.

World renowned fashion designer Anne Namba played host to a fashion show, showcasing the latest in fashion apparel.

Proceeds from the sales of her clothing line will benefit the Junior League of Honolulu.

"You know you feel like you're giving back to the community," said Namba.  "My dad always told me to give back to the community whenever you can.  So you know this is one way I can do it and you know the exposure for me is fantastic as well so it's a way to showcase my work."

"It's so important to team up with people in the community whether it's businesses or other non-profit organizations because when we all pull together the end result is much bigger and better," said Junior League member Wendie McAllaster.

The Junior League of Honolulu assists mainly women and children.  In addition, it also puts on various projects throughout the year helping those from low-income families.
