WAHIAWA (KHNL) - Some residents in central Oahu are complaining about roads in their neighborhood, and are wondering when they will finally see some improvements.

KHNL News 8 received an e-mail from a viewer who contacted our Talk Story line. The Wahiawa resident wants to know how long crews will take to work on busy California Avenue.

The Board of Water Supply is replacing lines in the area. It all started in the beginning of 2006 and is expected to wrap up at the end of the summer of 2007. Then city crews will work on repaving this road, which drivers say is ruining their vehicles.

"It ruins your alignment and your ball joints and everything. And who's going to pay for it? Us!" says Wahiawa resident Daryl Anduja.

Crews may start to repave the road towards the end of 2008, and could finish six to eight months later.
