PRINCEVILLE, Kauai (KHNL) - The families of the victims of a deadly helicopter crash on Kauai want answers about what exactly happened. The Heli USA Airways chopper crashed one week ago Thursday. John O' Donnell and Magaret Inglebrecht are two of the four people killed in the crash. O'Donnell's wife, Veronica and Inglebrecht's husband, Cornelius Scholtz, were injured. Their families have now hired an Aviation Lawyer to investigate the cause of the crash. The attorney unveiled some of the initial findings of their investigation. He says much of the evidence gathered so far, points to hydraulic failure as the cause of the crash.

"When the aircraft came over the airport boundary, and the runway was in sight, the pilot reported that he was having some sort of hydraulic issue and that he had had such an issue before and that he knew what to do," said Aviation Lawyer Mike Danko.

"They were having a fantastic time. They were just so happy about the trip that they were here. They were together. They really enjoyed the spirit of the people and everyone was so welcoming to them," said family member David O'Donnell.

At last check, Veronica O'Donnell and Cornelius Sholtz are still at the Queens Medical Center.
