HONOLULU (KHNL) - A beer and a busted rib. A 29-year-old man is in Honolulu police custody, accused of beating up a woman outside a bar.
Investigators say Matthew Ramos was drinking beer in the parking lot of Saigon Passion III on Kapiolani Boulevard, when a female employee told him he couldn't drink there and took the beer away. Ramos then allegedly punched the 32-year-old woman, knocking her to the ground, and continued to assault her.
Police say the victim has a fractured rib. The suspect hasn't been charged.
