Hawaii Doctors Arrive in Micronesia

HONOLULU (KHNL) - Hawaii doctors who are partnered with the Hokule'a are on their way to Micronesia . The Aloha Medical Mission's first crew flew to Chuuk Friday. These are boxes of medical supplies for a clinic they'll be setting up. The crew aims to improve healthcare in Micronesia. About 2 dozen volunteer doctors, nurses, and laypeople, are flying Continental to several Micronesian islands. They fly to Ponhpei Monday.
