HONOLULU (KHNL) - A man accused of strangling a man at a Kapiolani apartment last month may have left incriminating evidence behind.

Officers arrested Sistine Rangamar on suspicion of murder Monday night. Police sources say the 27-year-old has cuts to his body and may've left his own blood at the scene.

The body of Ted Arifuku was found in his studio unit on Kapiolani Boulevard January 15th. The 58-year-old had facial and head injuries, and his hands were tied behind him.

Investigators believe Rangamar went to the apartment to rob Arifuku, when the pair got involved in a bloody brawl. Charges are pending.
