Ehren Watada Faces His First Day In Court

(KHNL) - The court martial for Hawaii Born Army Lieutenant, Ehren Watada, begins this morning in Fort Lewis, Washington.

Watada faces a charge of missing movement, for not deploying to Iraq with his unit last June.

He also faces two charges of conduct unbecoming of an officer, for making public statements against the war.

Watada is arguing the war in Iraq is illegal.

If he is found guilty, Watada faces up to four years in a federal prison.

Jury selection, begins this morning.

The court martial, should be completed, by the end of the week.
