(KHNL) - You did it again. Your tips to Crimestoppers helped catch a man suspected in several car break-ins on Oahu's North Shore.

Thirty-seven-year-old Scott Tenney appeared in court Tuesday afternoon.

Last September, a man returned to his rental car at Chun's Reef and found a stranger sitting in the driver's seat. Investigators say the suspect jumped into another car, reversed into the victim causing minor injuries, and drove away.

But police later found a camera that contained a photo of a possible suspect. They say it was among numerous stolen items inside the getaway car, which was found in Pupukea.

Tenney is charged with robbery and auto theft. His bail is set at $40,000.
