(KHNL) -- A man is in Honolulu police custody being questioned as a possible suspect in last month's Prada heist.
Police arrested Tracey Coryell on suspicion of auto theft Wednesday night. Sources say undercover officers were conducting surveillance on a stolen truck, when the 40-year-old got into the vehicle. During questioning, sources say Coryell confessed to the Prada burglary.
The upscale clothing and accessories retailer told investigators someone broke into its Kakaako warehouse Christmas weekend. Initial reports had the take at $1 million worth of merchandise. Police say the new estimate is less than half that.
Coryell has not been booked in connection with the Prada case. The investigation continues.
