HONOLULU (KHNL) - A section of the world-famous diamond head state monument will be temporarily closed, so that crews can assess the danger of falling rocks on parts of the trail.
Starting January 17th, crews will be inspecting the summit trail and the vertical rock faces above it.
During this process, the park will be closed on alternating afternoons.
It will be open in the mornings.
And the park will be open the entire day, every other day.
