Police Following Every Lead In Prada Heist

(KHNL) - A million dollars worth of stolen Prada merchandise is still on the streets. Early Friday, Honolulu police thought they might have a break in the case.

Investigators rushed to a building on Farrington Highway in Waipahu Friday morning, after the manager of Olympic Auto Sales reported finding something that might be connected to the Prada heist.

Prada is an upscale clothing and accessories retailer. The company told police someone broke into its Kakaako warehouse Christmas weekend, and hauled away $1 million worth of goods.

HPD evidence specialists recovered the item found in the Waipahu office. Police would not identify the item, citing the ongoing investigation. No one has been arrested in the case.
