(KHNL) - Lifeguards say surf on the North Shore of Oahu is the biggest swell of the season. According to the National Weather Service, surf is expected to reach heights of 30 to 35 feet this afternoon. A high surf warning has been issued. A passing storm a few days ago helped generate the big swell, which is expected to last throughout friday.
