HONOLULU (KHNL) - Thanks to another big game performance by the University of Hawaii, their eighth win in a row, the Warriors are now ranked 25th in the country in both major polls.   The last time the Warriors were ranked was November 26th, 2002 when they were 24th in the Coaches Polls.

Saturday night's 54-17 victory over Western Athletic Conference rival San Jose State puts Hawaii at 9-2 (7-1 in the WAC).  Next week the Warriors will face the Big-Ten school Purdue at Aloha Stadium.

The undefeated Boise State Broncos (11-0) are now ranked number 12th, and have already clinched at least a share of the WAC title.
