(KHNL) -- The American Red Cross hopes Sunday's earthquake will remind people about the importance of being prepared.
The Red Cross sells a variety of emergency kits. They come in different sizes depending on how many people are in your family. The bags include items such as food and water rations, dust masks, toilet paper, first-aid supplies, flashlights, batteries and ponchos.
The Red Cross says more people have been asking about the kits since Sunday's quake.
"That's actually what happens after a disaster," Coralie Chun Matayoshi, Red Cross Hawaii chapter, said. "But we had one corporation that called that wanted to give disaster kits to a thousand of their employees. And we just had someone right in here, right before you got here, just wander in wanting to buy a kit."
