HONOLULU (KHNL) - Four months after a fire ripped through the University Lab School in Manoa, crews began removing the debris left behind.  Workers hauled away the burnt remains of the school's multi-purpose room Thursday.

"I think it's good, it's looks really bad, like I was really surprised that they didn't already clean it up" says student Charity Yoro.

Back on June 13th, a fire burned down part of the campus, causing six-and-a-half million dollars in damage.  Crews say it will take about a week to clear all the debris.  School officials say that the new portable classrooms should arrive next month.
