(KHNL) - An Oahu man's drive and compassion has helped stroke victims rebuild their lives.
That's why the Hawaii chapter of the American Red Cross named Peter Jhun as their true blue hero for the month of October.
After suffering a stroke himself, Jhun founded the Therapeutic Recreation Program in 1985.
Jhun, who is 80 years old, spends three days a week helping other stroke survivors with physical therapy.
