Bomb Squad Investigates Suspicious Device in McCully

MAKIKI (KHNL) - Honolulu police closed several intersections in the McCully area, Tuesday night, after someone reported finding a suspicious device in their home.

Honolulu police received a call, at about 7:30, that someone had discovered what appeared to be a pipe bomb.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, as well as Honolulu police responded to the scene on Fern Street.

When the bomb squad arrived, they found what looked like a taped-up piece of pipe.

Police say no one has been arrested, and they re-opened the roads, just after 10 o'clock, Tuesday night.
