MANOA (KHNL)- University of Hawaii at Manoa students got a chance to meet and greet faculty and staff today. About 800 students checked out this first annual back to school event. Students could get also information about campus clubs, meet other students, learn about future plans for campus renovations, and get updated on the new library hours.
Freshman Joshua Hampton says, "It's a great opportunity for the kids to come meet the faculty like the dean and other administrators. One thing that caught my interest was the campus improvement tent." UH officials say they will do this again next year, and possibly hold it over several days.
