WAHIAWA (KHNL) - Tragic news out of Schofield Barracks. A soldier was killed during a training accident on base Thursday morning.
Security was tight at Wahiawa General Hospital. Emergency crews took the soldier there in critical condition. He later died.
The Army says the soldier was killed while training for a live-fire exercise at a Schofield range. The cause is under investigation.
