PEARL CITY, Oahu (KHNL) - A 39-year old woman was found dead.

Her boyfriend was arrested for her murder after he admitted to killing the woman.

He lead police to her body.

39-year old Ronate Aquino had no comment for reporters as he was led out of the Pearl City Police Station.

Police say around four this morning, Aquino told officers he just killed his girlfriend.

He then took officers to a house on Hooli Circle in Pearl City.

Inside, they found the body of the 39-year old woman on the kitchen floor in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds.

Neighbors say the couple was quiet, and just moved into the neighborhood. They lived in the front portion of the duplex.

Records show Aquino lived in Waipahu. A man there says he knew Aquino for five months. He said Aquino was a yardman, and was supposed to be working today.

Instead, Aquino now sits in a police cellblock with his future in question.

The name of the victim has not been released yet. An autopsy is scheduled for monday.
