Double Homicide in Waipahu

(KHNL) Homicide detectives are investigating a double-murder in Waipahu, and a third victim is in critical condition.

Investigators say, the multiple shooting took place, about 12:30 Monday morning, near the intersection of Leokane and Pupuole streets.

The three had been sitting inside a truck, when they were shot, police say.

The murder victims are described as a husband and wife.

Police say a witness found their 14-year old daughter near the scene injured.

"The witness heard the shots just a little after 12:30 this evening, when he came down to investigate he found an injured party he stopped to assist and at that time he found the bodies in the car." Lt. Bill Kato said.

Medics rushed the girl to Queen's Medical Center, where she is listed as critical.

So far, there are no suspects in the case.
