WAIKIKI (KHNL) - Police arrested a man shortly before midnight Tuesday night after he totaled his car near the Waikiki Yacht Club, then reportedly damaged several multi-million dollar yachts with his own boat.

According to witnesses, 65 year-old Neal Timon crashed this car after leaving an area bar. After being surrounded by police, Timon got behind the controls of his 100 ton boat, the Prowler 76.

He then proceeded to ram several other large boats before finally being stopped by several boat owners and security personnel.

"People were telling him to back up, turn his engine off. ..many times. And he just didn't stop. He just kept ramming" said Tatum Browning, who was awakened by the crash.

The 71 foot Double Barrel sustained about 75 thousand dollars worth of damage to it's front end. Police arrested Timon in connection with suspicion of first-degree criminal property damage, leaving the scene of an accident and two counts of DUI.
